Since February 1st.

Why did you start pole?

I started because I’d been looking to do it for a while and I’ve wanted to do it since I was 6!

What has been your biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge so far has been not spinning out and also my Aerial Vs.

What do you love most about pole?

I love the way I feel when I walk into the studio, I love how sweet and encouraging everyone is and how it really feels like a big family, and I love how confident it has made me in my own body!

Do you have any pole goals?

I plan to compete, and hopefully to win a few more sashes, as well as to be able to do get my splits perfect and flat.

How long have you been pole dancing for?

What has been your biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge has probably been Ariel Vs. I have found them so hard to get and once I got them it was hard to be consistent with them. Its a love hate relationship really! They are something I am being persistent with and can see myself getting better at.

What do you love most about pole?

I love the people the most. Everyone is so friendly and encouraging, both students and staff. It just creates such a welcoming environment that keeps you feeling confident and included! I have met some great people so far. I also love performing at performance nights to see how far i have come and to have a bit of fun!

Do you have any pole goals?

My favourite move that I love in pole dancing is the push out V, which I am yet to learn, but I can’t wait!

How long have you been pole dancing for?

Off and on for 5 years now.

Why did you start pole?

A few years back when I was working with a team of makeup artists we were given the opportunity to do makeup for a Pole Diva’s competition. While we got to work, all these amazing girls were doing their run trough’s. It was the most amazing thing watch. All these ladies move so gracefully and with stuck strength. Next thing I knew I was looking up near by studio’s and trying to start ASAP.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Going to class after getting my tattoos done. My skin gets really sensitive; I have to retain my skin all over again. I lose strength, so it would feel like I’ve taken one step forward and five steps back. Also facing Meg’s in class and having her tell me off for getting more tattoos, I’m scared she’ll beat me up 😉

What do you love most about pole?

The environment, everyone is so lovely and supportive. They are my family. I can go and be my silly clumsy self and it’s just normal.

Do you have any pole goals?

To not fall off the pole, currently I’ve had 3 major falls. Lets keep it that way.

Before I new it, The minute I got back to Geelong I had booked myself in to start at Kylie J pole studio as soon as possible.

My biggest pole goal would have to be one day holding an iron X (one day) and to build on my own confidence to become a better performer.
