Michelle grew up in Melbourne where she developed her love for dance and performance from a young age. After a year of Calisthenics, she made the change to Gymnastics at the age of 6 and competed for 7 years around Victoria. Not long after, Michelle become addicted to dance and attended every class available at her local dance studio, including Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Tap and Acrobatics.
Unfortunately during her teens she severely damaged her back, which in turn stopped any form of dance. It took over 6 years for Michelle’s back to recover and by the time it did, she felt all dance opportunities were over. Until she discovered Pole!
In 2012, a good friend who had started pole dancing encouraged Michelle to give it a go, knowing how much she loves dance. As soon as she had finished travelling the world, Michelle booked in for beginner Pole classes and has never looked back! After a year of Pole Michelle had reached her goal of making it to an Advanced level. She also performed in Pole on the Pier 2013 in the Intermediate section and was awarded 1st Runner up.
